How would you spend the perfect day on the island of Capri? Swimming beneath the Faraglioni, soaking up the summer sun on a comfy beach lounger, eating freshly caught pezzogna in the shade of a pretty pergola, drinking a glass of sangria whilst the sun begins to set...

There's a place in Capri where you can do all this: the Fontelina beach club.

For beach club and restaurant reservations during our high season from 29-05 to 13-09, a minimum spend of €200 per person is required. This amount can be reached throughout the day by combining the beach club entrance fee with any extras and bar or restaurant consumption.
For restaurant only reservations it's not required to guarantee a minimum spending.

Location

Fontelina is situated opposite Capri's Faraglioni. You can reach the beach club on foot, via the little path which commences next to the Tragara viewing point. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes: the path winds its way down to the sea through the myrtle and broom bushes for a good 300 meters.

If you'd rather not make the uphill return journey on foot, you can take the beach club's shuttle boat to Marina Piccola and from there take a bus or taxi to the Piazzetta, instead.

How to reach La Fontelina

By walk: Walking from the center of Capri (piazzetta) it’s about 30 minute walk, going along via Camerelle then via Tragara and finally the path of via Faraglioni.
Taxi boat: La Fontelina provides a shuttle boat service from Marina Piccola (Pier/Scoglio delle Sirene) to La Fontelina Beach. Calling +39 0818370845 before going down to Marina Piccola.; From Marina Piccola to Fontelina: Private taxi boat upon request, €40 op to 4 passengers (€10 for each extra person).; From Fontelina to Marina Piccola: Shuttle boat €10 per person.
Departures every 30 mins from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm during the low season, from 3:00 to 6:30 pm during the high season.; The cost of the boat is not included in the 200 euros.; Sea conditions permitting.
Rent a private boat: You can rent a private boat directly to La Fontelina, where the skipper can find a boe field to moor the boat. To communicate with our skipper you can contact the VHF channel 10.
